We are moving an older home in great shape on to our new IntegraSpec basement (lower level). The workers poured the walls yesterday, October 25, 2004 and the floor was poured on October 15, 2004. How long do we have to wait before we can move the house on to this "lower level" to ensure we do not damage any of the work so far? The house is 2 story 26' X 52'

Concrete according to tests, takes approx. 28 days to reach its full strenght from the time it was poured. At 7 days, concrete should be near its specified strength. Concrete also becomes stronger in an ICF according to industry tests, therefore, after 7 days, the closer to 28 days you wait, the better. Thanks

Last year We poured on a Wednesday --lower floor-- & moved a modular on the next Tuesday & Wednesday. As I recall the concrete strength comes up very quickly in the initial 24 hours . We had no problems even though the 1/2 house at a time was concentrated on the two walls at four points plus two intermediate supports to the floor. Size was 14 x 28 times 2-- 1/2's
